Calming City Retreat

The first step in this renovation was to replace all the windows to create more interest to the home's interior and exterior. We chose black interior mullions with a 3x3 grid pattern to elevate the design, create contrast and draw your eye toward the surrounding park. To expand and open the kitchen, we removed a wall to create a connection to the dining room and add more light to the space. Throughout the home, we maintained a simple palette with an emphasis on contrast to convey the feeling of calm and warmth, while also adding texture and authenticity by choosing handmade and natural materials.
