Modern Warmth

The clients purchased the condo next door and wanted to add an entertainment area with a new bar, as well as remodel the kitchen. Combining both condos created design challenges especially in the new bar area - we needed to conceal the second exterior condo door and integrate a permanently located plumbing feature into the new layout. With our 3D renderings, we created a design that hid the exterior door behind the slatted clad wall treatment and created a repeating arch design to hide the fixed interior plumbing feature. The result is a sophisticated, modern and inviting entertaining area and kitchen that feels both distinctive and bold. This special project won placement at the Midwest Design 2025 Awards and will be featured in the Midwest Design magazine’s Spring 2026 issue.
